Chia seeds also known as Salvia hispanica, have been one of my favored additions to recipes for awhile now (oh and how you can see how my blog has grown!)…
It was definitely time to revisit these powerful seeds. I had the opportunity to share 10 creative ways to power up with these super seeds over on Taste of Home Magazine, and you can check out my article here.
These little black and white seeds are versatile, easy to chew, there’s no need to mill them like flaxseeds, they’re packed with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and a good source of plant-based proteins. It’s time to add these crunchy seeds to your pantry list!
